Valentine’s month continues with a personally beloved title of Mizuki Kawashita’s!

What is Friendship! Effort! Victory!? - It’s a podcast about the manga and inner workings of Weekly Shonen Jump, with an eye towards accessibility and soothing camp tones.
What is a minisode? – It’s a smaller episode, that discards all the inner workings and analysis stuff to just talk about a manga for what it is, be it good, bad, ugly, funny, heartbreaking and such. The minisodes exist to alternate weeks with the full episodes to give me a chance to work on those longer, more involved pieces without losing any momentum that weekly episodes would otherwise give it.
What is this episode about? – It’s about Mizuki Kawashita’s short-live episodic romance titles Hatsukoi Limited, a lovely 4-volume series that follows a variety of girls and boys as they all try to deal with their first loves. It’s all doki-dokis and heartbreaks, and I get a bit special about how much I love it. Be warned though; it’s a mite spoiler-heavy.
Where are the show notes? – Up that skirt, down that cleavage, in that swimsuit!
-Want to know more about Hatsukoi Limited? Head over to the wikipedia page for it. It’s pretty thorough, and a bit more spoilery than I am in this episode.
-Want to BUY Hatsukoi Limited as a manga? You can do in the original Japanese, in French AND in Spanish, through the following Amazon links (JAPAN) (FRANCE) (SPAIN)
-Want to consume Hatsukoi Limited in an english format? America has a subtitled DVD collection. HAVE AT (Amazon US)
-Did you know? It’s called Hatsukoi Limited because that’s literally ‘First Love Limited’. Why limited? Because I guess all love is? I actually don’t know. WELL-RESEARCHED.
-You can learn more about Weekly Shonen Jump over at the wiki page for it, which is almost slightly reliable.
